Ahhh, we made it. Crisp morning air, the scent of Fall lurking behind the corner. Happy Football Sunday!
I laughed to myself when I realized why I was taking it easy. Football Sunday’s are special, no matter a fan or not. I personally am a fan (of the 49ers and the Steelers, 49ers as a youth, more Steelers into my adulthood), but even for the non-fans, like my wife, and a lot of my family, it gives you the sense of the seasons changing. To put out the fall/Halloween decor, to get that crockpot going with the chili’s, soups, or pumpkin scented recipes, or my favorite (for the cold weather environments), hoodie/sweats weather!
I am so excited to have NFL on my television today, have some man soda’s with the family and friends, and just hang out.
Next week, I hope to smoke some meats for the family and friends (I’ll include some recipes and links).
